Bale joined Real Madrid and want to win the 10th Champions League

"It has been difficult but I am here now and I am delighted. Tottenham was great for me but when a club like Real Madrid comes in it is hard to turn down and I think they will understand that," Bale said when he showed up in Bernabeu.

Bale flew to the Spanish capital on Monday morning after Madrid ended more than two months of speculation, gossip and negotiation on Sunday night by announcing they had agreed a deal – thought to be worth €100m (£85.3m) – with Spurs for the 24-year-old.

Levy had won a small victory, waiting until the penultimate day to give the all‑clear; he had won a big victory with the fee too. But Bale had what he wanted. Called to the stage, he gave a timid "hello" that was largely drowned out by the crowd cheering and chanting his name.
"I just want to say that it is amazing to be here," he continued. "It's a dream and I hope we can bring the 10th European Cup to the club." The decima is Madrid's obsession and it was the kind of line that would normally draw a huge roar but he had delivered it in English. "I'm going to try a few words in Spanish," he said, adding: "Es un sueño para mí jugar en el Real Madrid, gracias. Gracias por esta gran acogida. Hala Madrid!" (It is a dream for me to play at Real Madrid, thank you. Thank you for this great welcome. Up Madrid!)

Bale to Real Madrid switch imminent

Sky Sports reports that a Bale conclusion is "imminent"

Tottenham winger Gareth Bale’s move to Real Madrid is reportedly “imminent” according to a Sky Sports report. The report says that while Madrid have yet to sign Bale to a contract, the transfer has “moved a step closer,” as one of the summer’s major transfer sagas reportedly comes to an end.

Bale has been constantly linked with a move to the Bernabeu throughout the summer, as rumors continue to unravel about the record-breaking transfer fee Tottenham are set to receive for their 24-year-old winger. However, Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas continues to deny that a deal has been completed between the two clubs, who could reportedly agree to a world-record £94 million or more fee for the Welsh-born attacker.

While the two clubs hash out the details of the move, Tottenham cheap soccer jerseys and Real Madrid soccer jerseys are a little same.Tottenham have been active in market to improve their squad, having been linked to Anzhi midfielder Willian as well as Roma attacker Erik Lamela. According to a Sky Sports report, the Brazilian midfielder passed a medical with the club yesterday, but Premier League rivals Chelsea have reportedly jumped into the race for the 25-year-old and will challenge Tottenham for the midfielder’s signature. Spurs have also reportedly agreed to a £31 million fee for Lamela, who is viewed as a replacement for Bale.

Spurs and Real Madrid are said to have a strong relationship after the two sides were able to agree on a £33 million fee for central midfielder Luka Modric last summer, as the Croatian international made his switch to the Bernabeu.
“Luka has been a terrific player for us and, while we preferred not to part with him, we are pleased that it is to Real Madrid, a club with which we now look forward to sharing a long and productive partnership,” said Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy to BBC last summer after the sale of Modric had been finalized.
