Bale joined Real Madrid and want to win the 10th Champions League

"It has been difficult but I am here now and I am delighted. Tottenham was great for me but when a club like Real Madrid comes in it is hard to turn down and I think they will understand that," Bale said when he showed up in Bernabeu.

Bale flew to the Spanish capital on Monday morning after Madrid ended more than two months of speculation, gossip and negotiation on Sunday night by announcing they had agreed a deal – thought to be worth €100m (£85.3m) – with Spurs for the 24-year-old.

Levy had won a small victory, waiting until the penultimate day to give the all‑clear; he had won a big victory with the fee too. But Bale had what he wanted. Called to the stage, he gave a timid "hello" that was largely drowned out by the crowd cheering and chanting his name.
"I just want to say that it is amazing to be here," he continued. "It's a dream and I hope we can bring the 10th European Cup to the club." The decima is Madrid's obsession and it was the kind of line that would normally draw a huge roar but he had delivered it in English. "I'm going to try a few words in Spanish," he said, adding: "Es un sueño para mí jugar en el Real Madrid, gracias. Gracias por esta gran acogida. Hala Madrid!" (It is a dream for me to play at Real Madrid, thank you. Thank you for this great welcome. Up Madrid!)

Messi hat-trick against Valencia

In the third round of 13/14 La Liga, Barcelona 3-2 Valencia, Barca coach Martino said,I saw the best version of Barca. And he praised the cooperation between Messi and Neymar.

Messi had looked far from his best in Barca’s Super Cup victory over Atletico Madrid in midweek, but looked more like his old self as he put Barca 2-0 up inside 39 minutes and was then brilliantly set up by Neymar to complete his hat-trick.

Valencia stormed back with two goals from Helder Postiga on the stroke of halftime, including an acrobatic volley, while Messi uncharacteristically squandered three golden opportunities late on and goalkeeper Victor Valdes saved Barca with a fingertip save onto the post from an 86th-minute Jonas effort.

Neymar was involved twice more as he almost got Messi another goal, only to see the Argentine miss both late chances before Valencia substitute Jonas hit the post four minutes from time.
Elsewhere, Atletico won 2-1 at Real Sociedad thanks to David Villa's goal in the 27th and assist for Jorge 'Koke' Resurreccion to add a second in the 56th.

Sociedad's Xabi Prieto halved the final difference in the 69th in a clash between two teams set to make long-awaited returns to the Champions League.

Atletico, Barcelona, Madrid and Villarreal are the only teams with three wins in as many rounds.Espanyol, meanwhile, remained unbeaten after drawing 0-0 at home with the winless Real Betis, while Malaga drew 2-2 at Sevilla.

Messis hat-trick let us witness the first mans power, its really hard for others to overpass Messi at present.
